The privacy project Horizen restarts as a Layer 3 network on Base

The Layer 3 network of Horizen has officially launched its mainnet on Base, completing the latest phase in the evolution of this historic privacy network.

Although this launch coincides with a renewed interest in "privacy coins," Horizen officially initiated its transition from Layer 1 to Layer 3 back in February of this year, after the DAO had resolved to gradually phase out the old chain.
