Dutch International: It is expected that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates twice in 2026, each by 25 basis points
According to Jin Ten, ING stated that the market expects the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates by 50 basis points in 2026, with anticipated cuts of 25 basis points in March and June. Despite current economic growth, low unemployment, the stock market nearing historical highs, and an inflation rate closer to 3% rather than the Fed's 2% target, the inflation backdrop in the coming months may become more favorable for rate cuts.
