Hyperliquid will introduce a portfolio margining mechanism in the upgrade

Hyperliquid officially announced that its blockchain will add a portfolio margin feature in the upcoming network upgrade, which has already been launched in the pre-alpha version on the testnet.

In the portfolio margin mode, users' spot trading and futures trading are combined, thereby improving capital efficiency. Additionally, the portfolio margin account will automatically earn returns on all borrowable assets that are not used for trading.
