Sweden's Klarna announced a partnership with Stripe's Privy to jointly develop a user-facing cryptocurrency wallet

Swedish "buy now, pay later" giant Klarna announced a partnership with Privy, a cryptocurrency wallet infrastructure company under Stripe, to jointly develop a user-facing cryptocurrency wallet. This is an important step in advancing "buy now, pay later (BNPL) + Web3" following the launch of its own stablecoin initiative.

Previously, Klarna announced that it would issue its own stablecoin, KlarnaUSD, in 2026.
