According to Chainwire, the cryptocurrency payment service provider CoinGate has obtained a MiCA (EU Regulation on Markets in Crypto-Assets) license issued by the Lithuanian regulatory authority, allowing it to operate as a compliant crypto asset service provider in Europe under the framework of the EU MiCA unified regulations.

The acquisition of this license marks an important step for CoinGate on its compliance path in Europe and is expected to enhance its ability to provide legitimate and compliant services in the EU market.
