Hong Kong Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau and the Securities and Futures Commission: Virtual asset trading and custody services are expected to be included in the regulatory framework
The Hong Kong Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau (FSTB) and the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) jointly published a consultation summary on the legislative proposal for the licensing regime for virtual asset trading and custody service providers.
The FSTB and SFC today also launched a further public consultation for a period of one month on the licensing regime for service providers offering virtual asset services and virtual asset management services.
