Due to the failure of the bet on ETH price, the founder of Infinex paid $50,000 to Multicoin co-founder as part of the wager
The founder of Synthetix and Infinex, Kain Warwick, has paid a $50,000 wager to Multicoin co-founder Kyle Samani. The two had a bet in November 2024 on whether ETH would break $25,000 by the end of 2025. If Kain wins, Samani must pay $500,000, but if Samani wins, Kain only has to pay $50,000.
