According to The Block, the spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs are expected to attract approximately $31 billion in inflows by 2025, with Bitcoin's annual ETF market share stabilizing at around 70%-85%, making it a primary allocation target for institutions entering crypto assets.

Ethereum ETF's share fluctuates in the range of 15%-30%, indicating a gradual increase in institutional acceptance of ETH, but it still lags behind. The report notes that institutions continue to buy Bitcoin through ETFs, providing support for its price, and increasingly view it as a macro hedge or "digital commodity." Meanwhile, the market share of long-tail asset ETFs such as XRP, SOL, LINK, LTC, and DOGE remains very low, with most products expected to be approved for launch only by the end of 2025.
