Analyst: Bitcoin developers are accelerating efforts to address quantum risks

Cryptanalysis expert Willy Woo posted: "The Bitcoin developers' response to quantum risks began in January 2025 and accelerated mid-year, with the first Quantum Bitcoin Summit held in San Francisco in July 2025. In my view, Bitcoin's response to quantum risks was initially slow, but is now rapidly accelerating."
