Spot gold fell below the $5,100 mark, dropping more than 5% during the day
Spot gold has plunged about $70 in the short term, currently reported at $5082 per ounce, down over 5% for the day. Spot silver has sharply dropped nearly $12 today, currently reported at $103.6 per ounce, down over 10%.
