Trump: Kevin Walsh will serve as the Chairman of the Federal Reserve

According to Jinshi News, U.S. President Trump stated: "I am honored to announce the nomination of Kevin Warsh as Chairman of the Federal Reserve.

Kevin is currently a distinguished visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution and a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, as well as a partner at the Duquesne Family Office and Stanley Druckenmiller. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School, and has conducted extensive research in economics and finance.

Before joining the Federal Reserve Board, he served as Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and Executive Secretary of the White House National Economic Council from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, he was a Vice President and Executive Director in the Mergers and Acquisitions department at Morgan Stanley in New York.
