BlackRock disclosed that it will purchase Uniswap tokens (UNI), but the specific quantity has not been made public
According to Fortune, asset management giant BlackRock announced that after deploying BUIDL on the DeFi platform Uniswap, it plans to purchase Uniswap tokens (UNI), but did not disclose the specific amount to be purchased.
Analysts pointed out that after Uniswap added BUIDL to its platform, the actual impact may not be significant in the initial phase, as the protocol involves Securitize creating a qualified institutional whitelist that allows participation in DeFi trading. The company will also whitelist some market makers, including long-term cryptocurrency liquidity provider Wintermute, to facilitate trading. Meanwhile, access to BUIDL is limited to qualified purchasers, specifically individuals or entities with assets of $5 million or more.
