Coinbase partners with Yahoo Finance to offer stock trading to users across the U.S

Coinbase has opened stock trading features to all U.S. users, after a limited rollout began last December. The cryptocurrency exchange has also partnered with Yahoo Finance to add a "Trade on Coinbase [Asset]" option on each asset page.

This move puts Coinbase in more direct competition with fintech companies like Robinhood, as the platform advances its vision of becoming a "one-stop trading platform" and seeks to diversify its revenue sources beyond just cryptocurrency trading.
