U.S. stocks opened sharply lower, with the Dow Jones down 1.28%

According to Gate market data, U.S. stocks opened with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 1.28%, the S&P 500 down 1.22%, and the Nasdaq Composite down 1.45%. Star tech stocks generally fell, with ASML down over 5%, TSMC down nearly 3%, and Amazon, Nvidia, and AMD all down about 2%.
