Exchanging disclosure for trust, transparency is no longer a cost of the project, but a core asset for long-term thinkers.

Recently, Web3 asset data platform RootData officially launched a "Project Information Management System" for official project teams. It supports using an official email to "claim" the project page, and performing full-process operations such as information editing and updating in the information management backend, maintaining project information timely and accurately.

This means that after successfully claiming and onboarding, projects can have their information seamlessly synchronized through RootData's API network to over 200 partner platforms, including Binance Wallet, Gate, Token Pocket, and the Ethereum Foundation—covering key ecosystem sectors such as exchanges, wallets, security firms, and public chain foundations.

This is another key initiative by RootData in building transparency infrastructure, following the launch of the industry's first realtime"Top Cryptocurrency Exchanges Ranked by Transparency" in December 2025 and the initiation of the Token Unlock Bounty Program.

If the exchange ranking defined the benchmark for transparency evaluation, and the token unlock bounty solidified the data foundation for critical data, then the launch of the project information management system marks RootData's transition from "collecting data" to "co-constructing data with projects." We are driving the industry's information disclosure from "passive listing" to "active management," from one-way output to two-way co-construction.

RootData's vision remains clear: to promote transparency and standardization of project information disclosure in the crypto industry, advocating for "Disclosure for Trust," making information clear from the source, enabling projects that truly value long-term growth to be seen, understood, and trusted by the market.

I. The Cornerstone of Trust: RootData Has Become the Industry's Core Information Source

Transparency is not an isolated declaration; it needs to be seen, used, and verified.

Recently, Binance Wallet announced deep integration with RootData data. Users can now view key project information such as descriptions, fundraising, team members, and calendars directly on the Binance Wallet page, allowing for clearer and more accurate understanding of project backgrounds when investing, reducing information barriers and noise.

This collaboration is not an isolated case. To date, RootData API has partnered with over 200 collaborators, covering key participants across the ecosystem:

  • Exchanges and Wallets: Binance Wallet, OKX Wallet, Gate, Token Pocket, etc.

  • Ecosystem Foundations: Ethereum Foundation, etc.

  • Security Auditors: CertiK, etc.

  • Financial Institutions and Funds: Amber Group, CMT Digital, etc.

  • Media and Communities: Blockworks, TechFlow, BlockBeats, Mask Network, etc.

These partners span numerous scenarios from trading, security, research to investment. RootData has become a crucial information channel for projects to enter the mainstream视野 and reach key exchanges and institutional investors.

This means the completeness and accuracy of project information on RootData directly influences how the industry perceives them, thereby affecting their opportunities to reach investors, partners, and exchanges.

II. A New Paradigm: From "Passive Listing" to "Active Management"

In the past, project information was scattered across various websites, social media, and third-party platforms, leading to information lag and difficulty distinguishing truth from falsehood. For a long time, the RootData data team invested significant effort, relying on smart tools and manual review for multi-source cross-verification, striving to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data listing.

However, as the number of projects in the industry surges and the database grows increasingly large, we realized that inviting projects to co-build from the source is the only way to achieve more efficient and sustainable information maintenance.

Therefore, the official launch of the RootData Project Information Management System establishes an official communication channel for projects, making information clear from the very beginning.

Core Features

1. Project Claim: Obtain Official Identity Verification

Official project teams can apply to claim their project for free on the RootData platform. After account verification, the project details page will display an exclusive "Project Claim" badge, serving as an authoritative mark of the project's official identity.

Claim applications require verification of identity through materials such as official email, a statement from the official X account via DM, or official website admin access, ensuring that only the genuine project team can manage the information.

2. Project Information Management System: Real-time Maintenance of Core Data

Upon successful claim, projects can submit information update and correction requests through the information management system. This includes:

  • Tokenomics: Token allocation, unlock schedules, etc.

  • Investors and Funding Info: Funding rounds, amounts, investors

  • Team Members: Backgrounds and profiles of core members

  • Calendar Events: TGE, mainnet launch, major partnerships, etc.

  • Official Updates: Project progress and announcements

All information requires submitting corresponding supporting materials, based on which the RootData data team will prioritize the review of update requests. This means projects can correct erroneous information, supplement missing data, and publish official announcements promptly, ensuring the project page information is always accurate, timely, and authoritative.

3. The Value of Transparency: Active Information Management Becomes a Consensus Among Quality Projects

On the RootData platform, information disclosure is not an empty slogan but a quantifiable evaluation mechanism.

RootData incorporates a "Transparency Score" system, serving as an important indicator to measure the completeness of project information disclosure. This score evaluates projects comprehensively based on multiple dimensions like tokenomics, team background, funding information, and calendar events, presenting a clear picture of a project's transparency performance.

Data shows that active information management is increasingly becoming a consensus among quality projects. Since the launch of the transparency scoring system, several popular projects including Chainlink, USD.ai, Cysic, pieverse have claimed and refined their data within the first week, rapidly elevating their transparency scores to Grade A. The cumulative number of claimed projects exceeds 150.

This signifies that actively managing the "information image" on the industry's primary data platform and enhancing project transparency has become a standard practice for quality projects.

For projects, this creates a positive value cycle:

This is the "Disclosure for Trust" mechanism we advocate. Transparency is no longer a cost for projects but a core asset for long-termists.

IV. Co-building Invitation: Making Information Clear from the Source

Transparency infrastructure is not built in a day, nor by a single entity. Today, the RootData Project Information Management System is officially launched. We sincerely invite all projects that value long-term growth to join us in this co-building effort.

- If you are the official team of a project already listed on RootData: Claim your project now, start active management, and light up the official badge.

- If you are the official team of a project not yet listed: First apply to list your project on RootData, then claim the project and manage information.

- If you are an exchange, investment institution, or community member: Feel free to apply RootData's data services in your scenarios and recommend partner projects to participate in claiming.

Project Claim Application Guide

1.Enter the project name in the "Project to Claim" to search for the project you wish to claim. Once selected, it will automatically match the link to the project's homepage on RootData.

2.If no matching project is found, please double-check whether the project is already listed on the RootData platform. If your project is not yet listed on RootData, please apply to Get Listed first.

3.The account email address used to claim the project will serve as the official account for managing project information. Please use your RootData account associated with your work email to apply for verification. The email domain should be consistent with the project name, e.g., for the project "RootData", an example work email would be "[email protected]". If this email is not registered with RootData, an account will be automatically created upon form submission. Please check your email for a one-time password (OTP).

4.If you are in direct contact with a RootData team member, please provide the contact information of the corresponding RootData member to expedite the review process.

5.In the absence of an official email or if you cannot verify your identity through a RootData team member, please submit as many "other supporting documents" as possible to help us verify your information. We accept the following materials:

a.Official Project 𝕏 Account Link: The official 𝕏 account of the claimed project, e.g., @RootDataCrypto

b.Screenshot of a Private Message Statement from the Official 𝕏 Account: Send a private message from the project's official 𝕏 account to @RootDataCrypto stating authorization for the specified email to manage the project information on RootData. Example statement: "We are the [Project Name] team and authorize the email [email address] to manage our project information on RootData."

c.Proof of Administrator Access to the Official Website

d.Proof of Domain Ownership

e.Other materials that can prove project ownership

6.After submitting your Project Claim application, you will receive the following prompt. The review result will be sent via email to the account's bound email address within 3-5 business days. Please do not submit duplicate applications during the review period, as this may extend the processing time.

Conclusion

Since its establishment in 2022, RootData has been committed to industry transparency and data standardization. It has currently listed approximately 20,000 projects and 10,000 investment/financing rounds, accumulating over 2 million users. It has become one of the most credible and influential crypto data platforms in the industry.

From the Exchange Ranking to the Token Unlock Bounty, and now to today's Project Information Management System, RootData consistently advances on the path of transparency infrastructure. We look forward to standing shoulder-to-shoulder with more projects, exchanges, and community members to turn "Disclosure for Trust" from a concept into reality, jointly building the most solid and verifiable trust cornerstone for the next generation of the crypto ecosystem.

On this path, RootData is willing to be a steadfast companion and co-builder.
