Hana Financial Group signs a memorandum of understanding with Standard Chartered Group to collaborate on expanding digital asset business
According to Theblock, Hana Financial Group and SC Group have signed a memorandum of understanding to engage in in-depth cooperation in the global financial business and digital asset sectors. The two institutions will strengthen their collaboration in global financial areas such as investment banking (IB), capital markets, and foreign exchange. At the same time, both parties plan to jointly explore growth opportunities in future financial fields such as digital assets.
Hana Financial Group Chairman Ham Young-joo stated that both sides will leverage their respective global networks and financial expertise to enhance global competitiveness through synergies in areas such as digital assets. SC Group CEO Bill Winters remarked that South Korea is a core hub of the Asian financial market, and this cooperation is an important milestone for its global network business.
