Apple App Store removes counterfeit Ledger Live application
According to Finance Feeds, Apple has confirmed that it has removed a fraudulent app impersonating Ledger Live self-custody wallet from the App Store after an on-chain investigation revealed that over 50 victims lost a total of $9.5 million in cryptocurrency within a week.
Previously, on-chain detective ZachXBT disclosed that this counterfeit Ledger Live app was available from April 7 to April 13, 2026. The losses involved multiple blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Tron, and Ripple.
