In the past ten years, the cumulative loss was $17.1 billion, involving 518 incidents; in the past five years, the loss was approximately $15.2 billion, involving over 450 incidents; in the past year, the loss was about $2.5 billion, involving over 140 incidents. Recent losses indicate that crypto attacks have shifted from smart contract vulnerabilities to private key leaks and access control.
