CertiK: Losses from cryptocurrency security incidents reached $651 million, the highest monthly total since March 2022
According to CertiK Alert monitoring, the total losses from cryptocurrency security incidents in the month of 2026 amounted to approximately $651 million, of which about $3.5 million originated from phishing attacks. This is the highest single-month loss recorded since 2022, second only to the Bybit theft incident in 2025.
