Iranian media denies the claim that Iran and the U.S. have reached a memorandum of understanding

2026-05-26 17:13:07

According to reports from the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting on the 26th, some foreign media have claimed that Iran and the United States have reached a 14-point memorandum of understanding, which is "completely fabricated and unfounded."

The report stated that some media claimed hours earlier to have obtained the final draft of the Iran-U.S. memorandum of understanding, which involves issues such as opening the Strait of Hormuz, initiating negotiations on nuclear issues, and unfreezing Iran's frozen funds, but these claims are all untrue.
