Foreign capital has wildly sold off the South Korean stock market, with $75 billion sold this year alone

According to The Kobeissi Letter, global investors are selling Korean stocks at an unprecedented pace. On Monday, foreign capital sold another $801 million worth of Kospi components, with a total outflow of $10 billion last week, and a net selling trend observed every trading day over the past month.

According to Goldman Sachs data, foreign capital has cumulatively sold $75 billion worth of Korean stocks this year. In stark contrast, domestic retail and institutional investors have net bought $69 billion during the same period.
