According to Simply Wall St, Circle Internet Group (NYSE:CRCL) has been removed from multiple Russell growth indices, including the Russell 1000 Growth Index, the Russell 3000 Growth Index, and the Russell Midcap Growth Index. This adjustment is part of Russell's latest annual reconstitution of its constituents.

This removal has a substantial impact on Circle's visibility among index funds and certain institutional investors. Although Circle's core business still revolves around the USDC stablecoin and tokenized capital markets, the index removal may affect the passive fund allocations that track these benchmarks, leading to mechanical selling or reduced future buying interest.
