U.S. stock market opens, Dow Jones rises 0.08%, Micron Technology rises over 6%

According to Gate market data, U.S. stocks opened with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 0.08%, the S&P 500 Index rising 0.2%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index rising 0.2%. Micron Technology (MU.O) rose over 6%, with the company planning to expand its investment in the U.S. to over $250 billion by 2035.

Qualcomm (QCOM.O) rose 1.9%, while Meta Platforms (META.O) fell 3.4%, as the company plans to start production of an AI chip in September.
