Data: A whale on the chain with 288 BTC short positions was liquidated, worth approximately 18.55 million USD

According to on-chain analysis platform Lookonchain, the well-known on-chain "gambler" address 0xff84 has once again encountered a strong liquidation during the current BTC price surge, with 288 BTC (approximately 18.55 million USD) in short positions being liquidated. Although it had previously actively closed some positions to avoid risk, it still could not avoid passive liquidation.

Currently, this address still holds 512 BTC (approximately 33 million USD) in short positions, with the new liquidation price rising to 64,665.18 USD. It is reported that this address once held up to 2000 BTC (approximately 125 million USD) in short positions, making it the largest BTC short on-chain, and has accumulated about 229,600 USD in funding fees from this short position.
