BlackRock CEO Fink says tokenization is a market trend
According to Forbes, Larry Fink, the CEO of the world's largest asset management company BlackRock, referred to tokenization as "the next generation of the market." He pointed out that after nearly a decade of hype, multiple setbacks in launching, and a series of promising pilot projects, mainstream financial institutions are seriously pushing to put real-world assets on the blockchain.
Fink's statement further highlights the traditional asset management giants' emphasis on blockchain infrastructure. As institutions accelerate their exploration of asset tokenization, related practices are shifting from proof of concept to larger-scale practical applications, which are expected to reshape the ways assets are issued, traded, and settled in global markets.
