All three major U.S. stock indices fell, with the Nasdaq down 1.33%
According to Gate market data, the Dow Jones Index closed down 116.2 points on August 18, a decrease of 0.22%, at 53,343.58 points; the S&P 500 Index fell 53.15 points, a decrease of 0.69%, at 7,691.91 points; the Nasdaq Composite Index dropped 355.2 points, a decrease of 1.33%, at 26,289.71 points.
