Yushu Wang Xingxing: Embodied intelligence ChatGPT may take 2 to 10 years

At the 2026 World Robot Conference, Wang Xingxing, founder and chairman of Yushu Technology, delivered a keynote speech titled "From Exhibits to Products: The Next Decade of the Humanoid Robot Industry." He stated that the company has been continuously promoting the integration of robots into daily life in recent years, including applications in automotive factories, deploying simple tests in its own factory, and the AI team advancing robots into households for work. However, due to overall efficiency and versatility still being insufficient, large-scale promotion has not yet occurred.

Wang Xingxing believes that moving towards an embodied intelligent ChatGPT moment ideally requires 2 to 3 years, or even longer, 5 to 10 years. Reaching this moment means that in 80% of unfamiliar scenarios, robots can successfully complete about 80% of tasks through voice or text commands. The most critical challenge currently is the alignment of input and output of AI large models with real robots.
