2026-08-22 14:44:49

Stanley Druckenmiller, founder of Duquesne Family Office, purchased 4.1 million shares of high-performance computing company Bitdeer Technologies Group (BTDR) in the second quarter, with a holding value exceeding $64.7 million and an average purchase price of $12.26. The company produces cryptocurrency mining hardware and operates data centers in the United States and other regions.

In addition, Druckenmiller bought 2.9 million shares of HYPE sector digital asset treasury company Hyperliquid Strategies (PURR), with a holding value of $23.1 million, indirectly gaining exposure to HYPE. Hyperliquid Strategies aims to provide HYPE token-related investment channels for U.S. and institutional investors. Druckenmiller's actions are similar to those of Jane Street and Citadel, which also increased their holdings in BTDR during the same period; Jane Street currently holds over $112 million worth of BTDR shares. BlackRock, State Street, and Citadel also increased their holdings in PURR in the second quarter; HYPE previously rose to an all-time high due to news of related compliance progress.
