U.S. stock market opens, Nasdaq down 0.22%, META up about 3%
According to Gate market data, U.S. stocks opened with the Dow Jones down 0.19%, the S&P 500 index down 0.02%, and the Nasdaq down 0.22%.
Meta Platforms (META) rose about 3% as the company agreed to settle allegations of harm caused by its platform to children.
