IDC: Apple's foldable screen iPhone will exceed 10 million units in shipments in its first year
IDC expects that the first foldable iPhone launched by Apple in September will have a shipment volume exceeding 10 million units in its first year, despite a price that could reach $2,500.
IDC also predicts that global shipments of foldable smartphones will grow by 12.6% this year and by 18% next year. By 2027, Apple will account for 40% of global foldable smartphone shipments.
