Data: Yesterday, the Uniswap protocol burned 178,000 UNI, with Robinhood Chain contributing a burn amount of up to 144,000

2026-09-05 14:50:02

According to DUNE data, yesterday the official Uniswap burn mechanism destroyed a total of 178,000 UNI, worth over 1.11 million dollars. Among them, Robinhood Chain contributed a daily destruction amount of up to 144,000 UNI, accounting for over 80%, far exceeding other chains such as Ethereum and Base, fully highlighting the current popularity of the Robinhood Chain ecosystem.

Previously reported, on July 15, Uniswap initiated a governance proposal to extend the protocol fee collection and UNI burn mechanism to Robinhood Chain, covering versions v2, v3, and v4. According to the proposal, the protocol fees generated on Robinhood Chain will be deposited into the TokenJar contract on that chain, and Searchers can redeem the fees by bridging UNI back to the Ethereum mainnet and sending it to the burn address.
