Trump declared the purchase of Coinbase and Strategy stocks
The periodic trading report disclosed by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics (OGE) states that Trump reported purchasing Class A shares of Coinbase worth between $1,001 and $15,000 on July 24, and on July 24 and 27, he purchased Class A shares of Strategy worth between $1,001 and $15,000 and $50,000 to $100,000, respectively. The report also shows that he previously sold Class A shares of Strategy worth between $1,001 and $15,000 on July 8.
The report further indicates that on July 29, Trump sold shares of the Bitcoin mining companies CleanSpark and MARA worth between $15,000 and $50,000. The White House has previously responded multiple times, stating that Trump's stock and bond investment portfolio is managed independently by third-party financial institutions, and Trump and his family cannot instruct, influence, or provide opinions on specific investments and trading timings.
