OKX Star: Tokenized stock trading platform DEX contract plan to be deployed on X Layer
OKX CEO Star responded to community questions regarding the deployment of the OKXICE tokenized stock trading platform, stating that the TSV DEX contract is planned to be deployed on X Layer.
ChainCatcher previously reported that, according to Bloomberg, OKX has submitted an application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch a tokenized stock trading platform, becoming one of the first major cryptocurrency exchanges to utilize the new U.S. regulations allowing digital versions of publicly traded company stocks to be traded on crypto platforms.
The joint venture OKX ICE LLC, established by OKX and the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), plans to apply to provide tokenized stock trading services for 63 companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange. According to the SEC's new framework, the relevant issuers have 30 days to opt out, after which tokenized stock trading can commence.
