Analyst: The market capitalization growth rate of small and medium-sized cryptocurrency assets has recently significantly exceeded that of BTC and large-cap assets

Cryptocurrency analyst Darkfost stated that since late August, the market capitalization growth of small and medium-sized cryptocurrency assets has been the most significant, with the gap between their average monthly market capitalization and average annual market capitalization continuing to widen, currently reaching a ratio of 41%.

In contrast, this ratio for BTC is about 7%, and for large-cap cryptocurrency assets, it is only 3.5%. Darkfost pointed out that this structure is relatively rare, as the market is usually led by BTC, such as after the end of the bear market in 2023. However, small and medium-sized assets are more sensitive to market changes, and trends can also reverse quickly.
