ChainCatcher news, East African Bitcoin mining company Gridless has completed a $2 million seed funding round, led by Bitcoin venture capital firm Stillmark and Jack Dorsey's payment company Block.It is reported that Gridless designs, builds, and operates Bitcoin mining sites and small renewable energy producers in rural areas of Africa. Gridless acts as a primary tenant, providing funding for the construction and management of data centers for these rural communities that lack access to traditional industrial or commercial customers.
