ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, based on the latest filings submitted by the American asset management company to the SEC, BlackRock may purchase a Bitcoin spot ETF for its Global Allocation Fund.

The company stated in its filing on Thursday: "The fund may purchase shares of exchange-traded products (ETPs) that track the performance of Bitcoin prices, including Bitcoin ETPs from BlackRock's subsidiaries."
