Bitwise expects that the inflow of funds into Ethereum spot ETFs will drive ETH to break through $5000 within the year

ChainCatcher news, Bitwise indicates that the spot Ethereum ETF is expected to launch in the U.S. next week, which could push the ETH price above $5,000 to a new all-time high.

Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan wrote in a report on Tuesday that due to the $11 billion Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETHE) experiencing outflows after converting to an ETF, this may not happen immediately, and price movements could start to fluctuate.

However, "by the end of the year, I believe ETH will reach a new high," Hougan wrote, "if the inflows are stronger than many market commentators expect, the price could be even higher."
