MoveBit and Aptos jointly launched the CTF MOVEment security competition
Author: MoveBit, Aptos Global
The CTF (Capture The Flag) MOVEment security competition, organized by MoveBit and Aptos, sponsored by Aptos, will be held from December 11th at 10 AM to December 13th at 10 AM (UTC+8). This competition is co-hosted by Aptos, MoveBit, ChainFlag, AptosGlobal, among others, with Aptos as the sponsor.

The CTF MOVEment security competition is the first event themed around Aptos ecosystem security in the Move ecosystem. As a leading public chain in the Move ecosystem, Aptos has made innovations in consensus, smart contract design, system security, performance, and decentralization, attracting a large number of developers and entrepreneurs worldwide to develop and create applications using the Move language in the Aptos ecosystem.
However, the current security programming knowledge among Move developers is still very lacking, and Aptos ecosystem developers need more security knowledge and to raise security awareness. Therefore, Aptos, MoveBit, ChainFlag, and OtterSec, along with many other Aptos ecosystem parties, are jointly hosting the first competition themed around Aptos ecosystem security, CTF MOVEment, with Aptos as the exclusive sponsor.
The CTF MOVEment security competition will be held online, with registration open for participation. The competition will last for a total of 48 hours. This CTF MOVEment will set up 3-4 Move-related security challenges, with varying difficulty levels. Completing different challenges will earn corresponding points, and the top four participants with the shortest completion times for each challenge will receive additional points as rewards.
The top three participants with the highest points will receive rewards of 1000 USD, 500 USD, and 300 USD prepared by Aptos, respectively. Additionally, the top three will receive a mysterious NFT, and all participants who complete more than one Move security challenge will be minted a CTF MOVEment POAP NFT.
Registration for the MoveCTF competition is now open. Teams and individual developers wishing to register or learn more about the event can visit this link.
