Wormhole becomes the official cross-chain bridge of NEAR and will jointly develop a ZK light client

ChainCatcher news, the cross-chain bridge Wormhole has been selected by NEAR Protocol as the new official cross-chain bridge. Wormhole will enable all NEAR assets to seamlessly bridge to over 20 connected chains and bring hundreds of Wormhole-supported applications and communities into the NEAR ecosystem.

Additionally, core contributors of Wormhole will join Zpoken and NEAR to develop a ZK light client that can prove and verify the state of Ethereum and NEAR without the same trust assumptions required today. (source link)
