Arbitrum Orbit has supported Layer 3 custom Gas tokens to pay for transaction fees

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the Arbitrum Orbit platform has added support for custom Gas tokens. These tokens are used to pay transaction fees.

It is reported that this development allows the Orbit blockchain to use specific ERC-20 tokens that meet technical standards to handle Gas or transaction fees on its network. Previously, the Orbit chain could only use Ethereum as the Gas token.
