TRON announced its Bitcoin Layer 2 solution and roadmap

ChainCatcher news, Justin Sun posted on social media that TRON will launch its Bitcoin Layer 2 solution to enhance interoperability between Bitcoin and the TRON network. This integration will not only connect TRON with Bitcoin but also facilitate the flow of funds into the Bitcoin network, injecting financial vitality into Bitcoin.

TRON plans to integrate its Layer 2 solution to connect tokens within the TRON network, including stablecoins with a market value of $55 billion, with the Bitcoin network and its Layer 2 structures such as Bitcoin ordinals, to promote cross-chain asset access and enhance financial vitality.

The roadmap includes three phases: Phase α will bridge Bitcoin assets to TRON; Phase β will collaborate with Bitcoin Layer 2 protocols; Phase γ will announce the integration of TRON, BTTC, and Bitcoin network's Layer 2 solutions.
