Willy Woo: Bitcoin breaking through $72,000 will lead to $800 million in short positions being liquidated, paving the way for a new high

ChainCatcher news, cryptocurrency analyst Willy Woo stated that if Bitcoin breaks through $72,000, it will trigger a wave of large-scale liquidations, paving the way for a new all-time high.

He posted on the X platform: "Reaching $72,000 is the catalyst for a series of liquidations. A large number of short positions could be liquidated at any moment, and Bitcoin could reach as high as $75,000, setting a new all-time high."

According to data from CoinGlass, if the Bitcoin price breaks through $72,000, a total of $800 million in leveraged short positions across all exchanges will be liquidated.
