SuperRare Co-founder: RARE token and protocol contract will launch on Base

ChainCatcher news, SuperRare co-founder John Crain posted on social media that the RARE token and protocol contract will soon be launched on Base. L2 is changing the game, where low-cost minting is currently the main NFT use case on L2.

Crain stated that they are interested in L2 auction mechanisms utilizing L1 assets, and the team is exploring this through Chainlink CCIP, aiming to achieve low-cost, fast auctions in the summer, providing users with L2 UX with L1 security.
