ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, Canadian cryptographer Peter Todd has been forced into hiding after the HBO documentary "Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery" claimed he is the Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto.

Todd denied this claim, stating that documentary director Cullen Hoback used misleading evidence, putting him at risk of safety threats. Todd emphasized that such accusations are not only incorrect but could also lead to dangerous actions such as kidnapping and robbery. Nevertheless, Hoback believes that revealing Satoshi's identity is of great significance, but the community is not convinced by this assertion.
