Binance HODLer Airdrop Launches GoPlus Security (GPS)

According to the official announcement, the Binance HODLer airdrop has launched its 11th project - GoPlus Security (GPS). From February 19, 2025, 08:00 to February 25, 2025, 07:59 (UTC+8), users who use BNB to subscribe to principal-protected earning products (fixed and/or flexible) or on-chain earning products will receive airdrop allocations.

Binance will list GPS on March 4, 2025, at 21:00 (UTC+8) and open trading pairs against USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY, applicable to seed label trading rules. The GPS recharge channel will open 2 hours later.

French Crypto Market Maker Flowdesk Completes $102 Million Financing, Led by HV Capital

French crypto market maker and liquidity provider Flowdesk has completed $102 million in financing, with 90% being equity financing and about 10% ($10.2 million) being debt financing. This round of equity financing was led by European investment firm HV Capital, with participation from Eurazeo, Cathay Innovation, and ISAI VC, while the debt financing portion was provided by funds managed by BlackRock. HV Capital also secured a board seat at Flowdesk.

Flowdesk plans to use this funding to expand its business, including launching a dedicated crypto credit business and establishing an office in the UAE. Co-founder and global CEO Guilhem Chaumont stated that debt financing is a strategic choice for the company to optimize its balance sheet while maintaining sustainable growth and avoiding equity dilution. Flowdesk previously completed a $50 million Series B financing in January 2024, with a valuation exceeding $250 million.

Founded in 2020, Flowdesk's main business includes market making, liquidity provision (including crypto ETFs), OTC trading, brokerage services, and financial management.

U.S. SEC Announces Members of Crypto Working Group to Advise on Cryptocurrency Matters

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) today announced the members of its crypto working group, which will advise the commission on cryptocurrency-related matters.

The working group is composed of members from the office of the acting chair and other departments of the commission. SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce stated, "The crypto working group demonstrates deep expertise and a strong commitment to finding workable solutions to complex cryptocurrency regulatory issues with the help of other excellent staff at the commission and the public."

The SEC has concluded its investigation into Yuga Labs. Yuga Labs posted on the X platform, stating, "After three years, the SEC has officially ended its investigation into us, which is a significant victory for NFTs and the entire creator ecosystem."

Recently, the SEC has withdrawn investigations into companies such as Robinhood, Gemini, UniSwap Labs, MetaMask, and OpenSea, and reached settlements with Coinbase and Kraken. At the same time, the SEC is still suing Ripple and seeking resolution regarding allegations against TRON founder Justin Sun.

Bybit's Stolen 499,000 ETH Fully Laundered After 10 Days

According to on-chain analyst Yu Jin's monitoring, hackers have fully laundered the 499,000 ETH (approximately $1.39 billion) stolen from Bybit, with the entire process taking 10 days.

During this period, the price of ETH dropped by 23%, from $2,780 to $2,130. The hackers primarily used THORChain for laundering operations, which resulted in $5.9 billion in trading volume and $5.5 million in fee income for the platform.
