80,000 "Satoshi Nakamoto era" Bitcoins have been transferred, with a total value exceeding 8.6 billion dollars
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, 8 long-dormant Bitcoin wallets have experienced fund transfers, involving a total of 80,000 BTC. These wallets have remained silent since 2011, when the price of Bitcoin was less than $1. Two of the wallets transferred 10,000 BTC each, which is worth approximately $1.1 billion based on current prices.
Blockchain analysis firm Arkham pointed out that these wallets may belong to the same entity. The transferred Bitcoins have been deposited into new wallets using modern address formats, and no further actions have been taken yet.
