Cryptocurrency exchange Bullish applies for listing on the New York Stock Exchange
ChainCatcher news, according to CNBC, the cryptocurrency exchange Bullish, backed by Peter Thiel, has submitted an IPO application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "BLSH".
Bullish is led by former NYSE president Tom Farley, with investors including Founders Fund, Thiel Capital, Nomura, and Mike Novogratz. Bullish acquired CoinDesk in 2023, and its IPO will mark another cryptocurrency company entering the public market, following Circle, Galaxy Digital, and Gemini. This application is also seen as an important step in promoting the legalization of stablecoins and digital assets.
