Cactus Custody has reached a strategic cooperation with Bybit, and Cactus Oasis is integrated to enhance the trading experience

On July 23, Cactus Custody, a compliant digital asset custodian under the Matrixport Group, announced a strategic partnership with the globally renowned cryptocurrency exchange Bybit. Its over-the-counter settlement system ++Cactus Oasis++ has been integrated into the Bybit platform and will officially go live on July 28. This collaboration will bring innovative over-the-counter settlement solutions to the market, further enhancing the trading experience for crypto investors.

Cactus Oasis, designed specifically for institutional clients by Cactus Custody, perfectly combines asset security custody with efficient settlement functions. After the integration with the Bybit platform, institutional users will not need to pre-fund their exchange accounts; they only need to deposit collateral assets into Cactus Custody, which will securely hold the assets in a fully isolated and regulated manner, transferring them to Bybit during trade settlement. This architecture effectively reduces counterparty risk while maintaining market liquidity. Based on the Hong Kong trust company and TCSP licenses held by Cactus Custody, as well as the regulation by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, all custodial assets will receive strict compliance protection. The Cactus Custody system employs an advanced hot and cold wallet layered architecture, combined with HSM encryption modules and bank-grade cold storage facilities, providing multiple layers of protection for asset security. Notably, Cactus Custody has also obtained Deloitte SOC 1 Type 1 & SOC 2 Type 2 audit certifications, continuously promoting the crypto custody industry towards a more regulated direction.
