Data: The number of publicly traded companies holding over 1,000 bitcoins has increased to 35, and institutional holdings continue to grow

ChainCatcher news, Fidelity Investment Research Vice President Chris Kuiper stated that data shows that by the third quarter of 2025, the number of publicly traded companies holding more than 1,000 bitcoins has increased to 35, up from 24 in the first quarter and 30 in the second quarter, indicating a growing institutional interest in bitcoin. This trend shows that more companies are doubling down on bitcoin as an asset allocation option.
