ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Standard Chartered's head of digital asset research Geoffrey Kendrick stated that Norway's sovereign wealth fund (NBIM) increased its Bitcoin-related asset holdings from 6,200 BTC equivalents to 11,400 in the second quarter, an increase of 83%. The fund primarily gained Bitcoin exposure by increasing its holdings in MicroStrategy (MSTR) stock, while also slightly increasing its position in Metaplanet.

Currently, MicroStrategy holds 628,900 BTC, and Metaplanet holds 18,100. Kendrick maintains a year-end target price of $200,000 for Bitcoin and predicts it could reach $500,000 by 2028.
